How durable are Palo wooden sunglasses?
In a word: very. All of our glasses feature central frames carved from a single piece of solid, natural hardwood. This reduces the chance of splintering or fragmentation which can occur in inferior frames that have been glued together. We also apply a protective sealant to ensure that the glasses are water resistant and will last for years.
Can I put prescription lenses in Palo wooden frames?
It’s difficult to find optometrists experienced in working with wood, so we don’t recommend asking your doctor to modify our sunglasses. We do, however, offer prescription specific models. These are specially designed to allow you to remove the standard lens and insert your own.
